A IFS Case Study
Schoeller Allibert, a Dutch-headquartered leader in returnable plastic packaging with 12 manufacturing sites, 20+ sales locations, 1,800 employees and €600M turnover, faced fragmented, country‑local IT and operational processes after rapid acquisitions. Running iScala across 55 different instances left the group with multiple, inconsistent versions of the truth, poor end‑to‑end visibility and manual data workarounds that hindered cross‑border ordering and customer service.
The company implemented a standard, minimally customized IFS template and IFS Cloud services, supported by IFS Success, to unify processes, master data and reporting across all sites with a three‑month rollout cadence. Results include a single real‑time version of master data (a ~70% reduction in customer/supplier records), centralized finance shared services and invoice automation, improved equipment performance and traceability, and faster, exception‑based operations—putting the group on track to meet its order‑fulfillment and efficiency targets.
