A IFS Case Study
Hyundai Nishat Motors, a joint venture established in 2017 and manufacturer/assembler of Hyundai vehicles in Pakistan, needed a centralized, real-time system to support new-car sales, aftersales, warranty and maintenance across multiple models and a growing dealer network. Management required a 360-degree view of customer leads, sales, servicing, recalls and production demand to eliminate manual, duplicated processes and improve decision-making across nationwide dealerships.
Hyundai Nishat went live with IFS ERP in October 2019, deploying 150 licenses across head office and 15 dealers and integrating IFS with a back-office SAP S4/HANA system and cloud hosting on Microsoft Azure. The solution delivered single-entry data flows, real-time visibility of sales and aftersales, administration of 10,000 customer records, and a 50% reduction in workload/man-hours; the company plans to expand to ~30 dealers and adopt additional IFS modules (Financials, Document Management) and future IoT/big-data capabilities.
