Doppelmayr, founded in 1893 in Austria, is a global leader in ropeway and cable‑car systems, operating in 50 countries with around 3,400 staff and more than 15,400 installations. The company needed to manage highly complex engineering, manufacturing, installation and maintenance work across many sites and projects, requiring a single, scalable digital backbone and real‑time visibility into operations.

Over a 15‑year partnership Doppelmayr implemented IFS ERP globally—using IFS Project Management and IFS Lobby dashboards—to consolidate multi‑site, multi‑country data into one system and support roughly 150 projects a year. The solution delivered unified data, instant operational visibility and the flexibility to scale with growth, and the company is now preparing for a company‑wide move to IFS Cloud to further integrate and future‑proof its IT.
