Dolphin Drilling, a harsh-environment offshore drilling contractor operating three modern rigs and onshore sites in Norway, the UK, Nigeria and other countries, needed a resilient ERP to reduce manual offshore work, improve workflows and global finance processes, and maintain operational visibility when assets go offline. They also sought to digitize HSEQ, document management and move toward condition‑based maintenance while avoiding heavy customization.

Dolphin selected the IFS Oil & Gas Drilling Accelerator and rolled it out across onshore sites and the fleet, keeping the solution standard with only one HR customization and completing implementation in nine months on budget. The IFS deployment (500 users) provides finance, maintenance, supply chain, HSEQ, HCM, CRM, automated replication/synchronization for offline assets and mobile-ready interfaces.
