CKenergy Electric Cooperative deploys IFS to improve visibility in field operations

CKenergy Electric Cooperative, formed in 2016 from the merger of Kiwash and Caddo cooperatives, delivers reliable energy across its service area and needed better visibility into field operations and outage response—especially following its recent AMI meter deployment. The co‑op sought a way to connect field crews and the office with real‑time information to improve coordination, safety and service levels.

CKenergy deployed IFS’s browser‑based Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) and Smart Meter Exchange, integrating AVL with Milsoft’s DisSpatch OMS to display GPS‑based vehicle locations and task status directly on outage maps. The integrated solution delivered a single, real‑time view of assets and crews, enabling faster, safer responses, reduced manual work and improved customer satisfaction through better field performance and quicker outage resolution.
