Bolix streamlines warehouse management with IFS upgrade

Bolix S.A., a leading Polish producer of construction chemicals and thermal insulation, upgraded its long‑standing IFS ERP to modernize warehouse management and shop‑floor communications. The goal was to speed up production, reduce errors and improve the customer experience while retaining core system functionality.

The project remodeled business workflows and introduced task‑oriented pallet handling, wireless QR‑code terminals, FEFO shipment rules, real‑time reporting, paperless sales and a B2B customer portal. As a result Bolix achieved faster communication, more organized warehouses, fewer picking mistakes, improved stock rotation and higher throughput (up to 30 vehicles/day in season), along with better sales efficiency and transparency — extended to its Ukrainian subsidiary.
