AOA Apparatebau Gauting is a mid-sized manufacturer of electronic and mechanical systems for the aeronautical industry, with ~340 employees and sites in Germany, the USA and Asia. Because AOA handles development, production and long-term service in-house, it needed a single, flexible ERP to support complex service management, lifecycle tracking and transparent company-wide information flow — after a structured evaluation the company chose IFS for its industry focus and functional fit.

IFS was rolled out progressively across finance, HR, sales, manufacturing, purchasing and service, with 50 key users trained and over 200 staff now using the system across locations.
