Case Study: Anticimex achieves IoT-powered field-service efficiency and optimized routing with IFS

A IFS Case Study

Preview of the Anticimex Case Study

Anticimex powers IoT with IFS

Anticimex is a global leader in preventive pest control, operating in 17 countries with about 5,500 employees and 3,000–3,500 field technicians. Rapid organic growth and more than 80 acquisitions left the company with a fragmented IT landscape, while tighter regulations and increasingly resilient pests created pressure to be more environmentally sensitive and more efficient in field service delivery.

Anticimex implemented IFS—using IFS Field Service Management, IFS Financials and the IFS IoT Business Connector integrated with Microsoft Azure—together with its SMART connected traps, sensors and cameras. Real‑time IoT data feeds into IFS to pinpoint triggered devices, optimize technician routes and monitor battery health, cutting unnecessary visits, lowering costs and the company’s environmental footprint, and improving response times and service scalability.
