Ease of use drives IDU adoption at Coronation

Coronation, an investment-led asset manager managing R570 billion in client assets, faced growing problems with spreadsheet-based budgeting: multiple versions across cost centres and three currencies, frequent errors, long consolidation times and difficulty getting non-financial line managers to budget accurately. The result was faster, more accurate control—checking a department’s actuals against budget now takes a couple of clicks instead of hours, spending visibility moved from quarterly to near real-time, and budgeting errors were significantly reduced, improving transparency and monthly budget accountability.
