Polaris, the industrial manufacturer behind off-road vehicles, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and low-emission vehicles, needed a faster and more accurate way to capture prospect information during test drives. The company had to collect legal waivers and contact details quickly, support manual override when needed, and read IDs from all 50 states using a portable system. Polaris worked with IDScan.net and its M-310 Handheld ID card reader with VeriScan mobile software.

IDScan.net built a custom data capture solution that let dealers swipe or scan a driver’s license or state ID to automatically populate prospect data, with additional fields entered manually as needed. The information was then shared quickly with Polaris corporate offices for CRM entry and waiver processing. The result was an easy, fast, accurate, and portable system with usable reporting, giving Polaris more flexibility and improving response speed to hot prospects.
