Perlego - Customer Case Study

Perlego is a digital online library also named as the “Spotify for textbooks” by the Evening Standard. With a mission to make educational material accessible, they offer students a subscription service in which they can access the books and all the materials they need for University for less than the price of a single book each month. They also help publishers recoup revenue losses caused by some of these options. All the PDF files are streamed on their web application and it’s much easier for them to work with the PDF content when in HTML format. This allows them to build the necessary studying features on top of it, including highlighting, annotating, a search-within-book feature, and more. BuildVu has certainly improved our situation as it has made it much easier for us to deliver thousands of valuable PDF files to our users and build the features that they have come to expect of Perlego.
