Air Selangor improves leak detection with IDRICA for 8.4 million residents

Air Selangor, a large Malaysian water utility, faced challenges with long leak detection times and unclear sources of pressure transients, which affected its service reliability and reputation. To improve its monitoring capabilities and reduce non-revenue water, the utility partnered with IDRICA to implement the Xylem Vue powered by GoAigua solution.

IDRICA deployed a solution featuring Leak Detection, Leak Localisation, and Meter Data Analytics modules, integrating data from thousands of sensors into a central platform. This implementation provided Air Selangor with improved leak detection, enhanced operational efficiency, cost reductions, and asset optimization, ultimately leading to a lower carbon footprint.
