Suffolk County Council - Customer Case Study

Suffolk County Council worked with Idox to tackle the challenge of bringing multiple community information databases together, including family information services, SEND Local Offer and adult social care. The goal was to create a single, trusted source of local information that would improve the user experience for families, residents and service providers across the county.

Idox developed Suffolk InfoLink, a dynamic directory where information can be searched, filtered and updated in real time, with data sharing enabled across neighbouring councils too. The solution helped Suffolk quickly respond during the COVID-19 pandemic, support more than 400 services updating their details, compile a list of over 500 childcare providers, and become the county’s only up-to-date source of local service information, contributing to Suffolk County Council being named “Most Innovative Family Information Service.”
