Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust worked with Idox to improve sexual health data collection across its expanded network of 76 clinic and outreach locations following a merger that broadened its service area across Lancashire and South Cumbria. The Trust needed a consolidated system to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accurate statutory reporting, while reducing the burden on frontline staff.

Idox implemented a consolidation of multiple Lilie electronic patient record databases into one central platform, enabling streamlined consultation recording, better reporting, and stronger audit and quality controls. With Idox’s Lilie system, the Trust can produce custom reports, meet statutory and commissioning requirements more easily, reduce administrative work and transcription errors, and support safer care for approximately 300,000 patients annually.
