VetDogs (America’s VetDogs and the Guide Dog Foundation) trains and places guide and service dogs to restore independence for veterans, first responders, and people who are blind or have low vision. COVID-19 forced many events to be postponed or canceled, creating a fundraising gap; the organizations set a $60,000 target for a one‑day #GivingBarkThursday campaign and partnered with iDonate, using iDonate’s embeddable giving forms, peer-to-peer tools, and real-time Goal Meter to drive online donations.

Using iDonate’s platform, VetDogs deployed embeddable forms, enlisted 12 influencers in peer-to-peer fundraising, and tracked progress with the iDonate Goal Meter while promoting matching gifts and frequent outreach. The campaign more than doubled its goal, raising $151,000 (including matches), gained 200 first-time donors, and generated $15,500 (10% of the day) from peer-to-peer efforts — all enabled by iDonate’s tools.
