Safe Alliance, formed from the merger of Austin’s Children’s Shelter and SafePlace, provides prevention and crisis programs for survivors of child abuse, sexual exploitation, and domestic violence across Austin. With limited internal capacity to build a peer-to-peer fundraising program, Safe Alliance turned to vendor iDonate and its peer-to-peer platform to enable community-driven fundraising.

Using iDonate’s peer-to-peer platform, Safe Alliance launched Team FX with a local runners’ training group; 335 runners have completed 10K, half- and full-marathon events and collectively raised $474,000. iDonate’s solution established a reliable annual revenue stream, increased community awareness, and generated a steady source of new donors for Safe Alliance.
