Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries wanted to boost Giving Tuesday fundraising and expand its donor base. To do that, it worked with iDonate and used its Peer-to-Peer fundraising tools to let supporters share their own stories and raise money within their networks.
iDonate helped Alabama Baptist enlist foster care families to host Peer-to-Peer campaigns, giving the effort a personal connection that resonated with donors. The Giving Tuesday campaign raised $65,000, averaged $1,800 per fundraiser, and brought in 152 new donors, which represented 19% of all new donors Alabama Baptist captured in 2021.
