Cadbury Reaches Audiences’ Emotions with Idomoo Personalized Video

Cadbury, the global confectionery brand, wanted to raise brand awareness, increase market penetration and create an emotional consumer-brand connection—notably to grow India’s underdeveloped “chocolate gift” market for its Cadbury Glow launch. To achieve this, Cadbury partnered with Idomoo to deploy personalized video solutions (Idomoo Social and personalized video gifts) across integrated digital and social campaigns.

Idomoo built a Facebook “Flavour Matcher” app in Australia and personalized video-gift experiences for Cadbury Glow in India, generating custom videos from users’ Facebook data and photos. The campaigns delivered strong, measurable results: 90% of users watched videos to completion, 65% clicked through to promotions, ~33% converted on competition entries, ~12% shared their videos, and India’s gift unlock conversion reached about 97%—outcomes that convinced Cadbury to expand Idomoo-based campaigns to new markets.
