BBVA, a leading Spanish bank, needed to motivate customers to save more for retirement and to increase adoption of its digital money‑management tools. To meet this challenge BBVA worked with Idomoo to deploy personalized video communications — notably a “Future Self” dynamic video that speaks from a retired version of the viewer and customizes gender, projected savings, interest rates and end‑of‑term balances.
Idomoo’s dynamic personalization delivered strong results: email open rates doubled from 20% to 40% (a 100% increase), video view rate reached 51% with a 75% completion rate, and the integrated campaign produced a 78% increase in long‑term retirement savings. Following this success BBVA expanded the approach to five more programs worldwide and plans further rollouts in the US and Mexico.
