Holvi, the digital business banking service for self‑employed professionals with ~200,000 users, struggled with a manual KYC process that required customers to upload IDs and wait days for verification only during weekday hours. To support rapid growth while maintaining security, fraud prevention and compliance across multiple countries, Holvi selected IDnow in 2017 to deliver a scalable, user‑friendly onboarding solution.
IDnow provided guided identity verification via trained ident specialists, an SDK for Holvi’s mobile app, API support for multi‑country deployment and AI‑driven AutoIdent for the UK. As a result, verification times fell from multiple working days to about 1–3 minutes, checks became available evenings and weekends, Holvi’s back‑office workload was significantly reduced, and the company could accelerate customer onboarding and expand into new markets.
