The Ridge, a direct-to-consumer wallet brand, was managing community discounts through a manual, clunky process and wanted to both automate verification and tap into more effective marketing channels. In January 2020 The Ridge began working with ID.me to leverage ID.me’s verification technology—Community Verification—and explore ID.me’s marketing placement opportunities.
ID.me integrated Community Verification with The Ridge’s Shopify store and ran paid placements (including multi-merchant emails) to reach engaged audiences. The results were a strong lift: an 800% increase in verifications and users in the first year and over 2x ROI from ID.me’s multi-merchant emails, including the brand’s highest-performing paid campaign for Father’s Day—establishing ID.me as a trusted, cost-effective distribution channel for The Ridge.
