KISS launched the “Heroes Get Rewards” campaign to offer discounted concert tickets to the verified military community during their 40 Year Anniversary Tour and needed a secure, online identity-verification solution. KISS worked with vendor ID.me, using ID.me’s identification system (via Troop ID) to verify military status and control access to the one-day military-only presale.
ID.me implemented a streamlined verification flow—creating a dedicated landing page, prompting users to sign in/sign up with Troop ID, issuing one-time promo codes, and integrating with Ticketmaster and McGhee Entertainment—without disrupting e-commerce and in under a week. ID.me’s real-time verification prevented repeat use and drove measurable results: more than 4,000 tickets sold in the one-day presale and over 5,400 discounted tickets sold for the tour overall.
