Ohlssons AB is a Swedish full‑service transport business with 250 employees and a turnover of 360 MSEK, operating across industrial and domestic waste management, construction haulage and general transport. As their fleet and asset base grew, managing maintenance from spreadsheets became unsustainable — they needed a tool to track vehicle condition, trigger alerts, schedule routine services and inspections, and monitor costs to support timely repairs and reinvestment decisions.

Ohlssons implemented Idhammar MMS, which provided maintenance alerts, PM templates for recurring services, cost tracking by vehicle and cost centre, scheduling and business reporting, and was integrated into their IT environment. The system delivered faster fault notification and return‑to‑service updates, clearer service scheduling, improved cost visibility and reinvestment forecasting, and strong local support; Ohlssons now plan mobile extensions to give drivers and parts staff direct access.
