TalkTalk, a leading UK broadband, voice, TV, and mobile services provider, needed to better manage rapidly growing data spread across many systems after acquisitions and expansion. The company also struggled with poor communication between business teams and developers, which caused misunderstandings, errors, and frequent revisions. To support its “Make TalkTalk Simpler” initiative, TalkTalk turned to Idera’s ER/Studio Data Architect and ER/Studio Repository.

Idera implemented ER/Studio to create a clearer, shared data modeling environment that bridged business and technical teams. This improved collaboration and understanding of customer data, reduced data gathering time by two-thirds for some processes, and cut down on revisions. As a result, TalkTalk improved reporting, increased upsell opportunities, better targeted customers, and reduced churn, while also strengthening version and documentation control with the ER/Studio Repository.
