Lone Star College, the nation’s third-largest higher education system with 100,000 students and 6,000 employees across 19 campuses, needed to replace an Oracle-based, scripted identity and access management process that made onboarding slow and error-prone. To meet a three-month deadline tied to a new ERP deployment, Lone Star College selected Identity Automation’s RapidIdentity to deliver a modern, easy-to-manage IAM platform for students, staff and adjuncts.

Identity Automation implemented RapidIdentity in three months, automating real-time provisioning, adjunct account workflows, self-service password reset and license deprovisioning—cutting help-desk password calls from 90,000 to 45,000 per year (soft savings of more than $400,000) and reducing license creep.
