Identity Automation Changes the Way Charlotte County Works

Charlotte County Public Schools, serving more than 16,500 K–12 students across 21 physical schools plus a virtual school and over 2,000 staff, struggled with manual account provisioning, password-reset overhead, orphaned accounts and a Novell-to-Microsoft migration while rolling out Office 365, Google Apps and single sign-on. To tackle these challenges the district engaged Identity Automation and its RapidIdentity identity-management platform.

Identity Automation deployed RapidIdentity to pull HR and SIS data into Active Directory, automate account provisioning/de-provisioning, enable password self-service and single sign-on, and provision accounts in Office 365 and Google. The solution reduced new-hire delays from days to minutes, cut significant IT support time and risk from orphaned accounts, freed network analysts for higher‑value projects, and provided a scalable foundation for future e-learning and cloud services.
