Harmony Public Schools, the largest charter network in Texas serving about 35,000 students across 57 schools with a STEM focus, faced an explosion of systems and user credentials that frustrated students, parents, teachers, and IT staff. To streamline access, HPS evaluated single sign-on options and selected Identity Automation’s RapidIdentity as the portal to unify on‑premises and SaaS applications and reduce password-related friction.

Identity Automation deployed RapidIdentity to provide one‑click SSO, automated password management (self‑service and teacher‑delegated resets), and centralized account control. The district now manages over 39,000 user accounts and offers SSO to more than 40 educational systems, doubled student adoption of a newly integrated digital library in the first month, and reduced support workload while improving security and access across the district.
