Dallas ISD - Customer Case Study

Dallas ISD, a large K-12 district serving nearly 150,000 students across 230 schools, needed to modernize its aging on-premise identity and access management system. The district’s old environment had become difficult to maintain and secure because of limited knowledge transfer and custom code added over time, so it turned to Identity Automation for a simpler, standardized, cloud-based approach using RapidIdentity.

Identity Automation implemented RapidIdentity Lifecycle Management and Authentication to automate user provisioning, enable single sign-on and multi-factor authentication, and give teachers more delegated control. The results included stronger student data security, a more personalized login experience, more instructional time, greater off-campus learning flexibility, and fewer support issues, including a 60% drop in service desk tickets during the first week of school.
