Clayton County Public Schools Choose Identity and Access Management Solution from Identity Automation

Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS), serving more than 55,000 students, staff, and administrators in Jonesboro, GA, needed to accelerate district-wide adoption of cloud-based education technology—including a one-to-one Chromebook initiative—while improving security and simplifying access to online learning tools. To address these challenges, CCPS selected Identity Automation’s RapidIdentity as a Service (hosted on AWS) as its identity and access management (IAM) solution.

Identity Automation implemented RapidIdentity as a Service to deliver SSO, full identity lifecycle management (automated provisioning and deprovisioning), and support for cloud apps such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, plus BYOD and external users. The solution enabled CCPS to deploy cloud applications at scale, accelerate the Chromebook rollout, boost security and productivity with centralized access, and lower total cost of ownership by offloading management to Identity Automation.
