IDEA Public Schools - Customer Case Study

IDEA Public Schools, a Pre-K–12 public charter network operating across Texas, Florida, and Ohio, needed a way to manage identity and access across multiple student information systems, state-specific requirements, and rapid growth without adding IT staff. The organization faced the challenge of onboarding tens of thousands of students and staff while keeping access consistent, secure, and compliant across hundreds of applications.

Identity Automation implemented RapidIdentity Cloud Lifecycle Management as the core of IDEA Public Schools’ IAM strategy. RapidIdentity centralized and normalized identity data from multiple SIS platforms, automated account creation and deprovisioning, and provided self-service and MFA capabilities through a branded identity portal. The result was a scalable framework supporting about 88,000 students and 12,000 staff, with major reductions in manual IT work, improved security, and faster student logins that reclaimed countless minutes of instructional time.
