Ballston Lake Central School District - Customer Case Study

Ballston Lake Central School District, serving about 3,200 students across 10 buildings, struggled with a manual and disconnected identity and access management process that slowed onboarding and made it difficult to keep access current as employees changed roles. The district worked with Identity Automation and used RapidID Cloud Lifecycle Management, along with Jamf Apple Device Management, to address these challenges.

Identity Automation implemented RapidID to connect HR with Google Workspace, Jamf, and Verkada, automating user creation, group membership, device access, and physical door permissions based on role and building data. As a result, Ballston Lake Central School District cut onboarding from several days to about a day or less in most cases, reduced manual IT work, improved the employee experience, and strengthened security with more granular, policy-driven access.
