The Mandeville Hotel, a 142‑room property in London and member of the Preferred Hotels group, faced a crowded, competitive market and needed more advanced pricing capabilities to optimise revenue by room type. To solve this, the hotel moved to IDeaS G3 Revenue Management System (IDeaS G3 RMS) in 2017 after earlier success with another IDeaS platform.

IDeaS implemented room‑type yielding and automated forecasting/reporting so the hotel could price each room category independently and analyse channel performance; this led to an immediate ~3% ADR improvement and a 5% ADR uplift across all room types after one year, while reducing overbooking risk and supporting future expansion planning. IDeaS’ G3 RMS also provides quick, precise reports that helped the team plan promotions and monitor rate‑code performance.
