Bluesun Hotels & Resorts, a Croatian collection of 13 properties, faced the challenge of capitalizing on a sudden tourism boom by improving its revenue management capabilities and developing a pricing strategy to capture more direct business. To address this, Bluesun engaged IDeaS, working with IDeaS Advisory Services and implementing the IDeaS Forecasting Management System.

IDeaS helped Bluesun create a three-year roadmap and rolled out the Forecasting Management System in two phases, delivering automated forecasts, a stronger revenue culture, and optimized pricing for direct bookings. As a result of IDeaS’s work, Bluesun achieved 9.2% revenue growth in the first year and is positioned to pursue further double-digit gains.
