A Ideanote Case Study

How DAB started collecting employee ideas and supercharged their innovation

Dansk Almennyttigt Boligselskab (DAB), which manages 50,000 rental homes and related services, needed a simple way to connect dispersed employees and surface ideas outside rare organization‑wide meetings. Seeking an easy-to-use idea management platform, DAB chose Ideanote (using Ideanote Collect) to empower staff across locations and backgrounds to share best practices, brainstorm and collaborate continuously.

Ideanote rolled out Idea Collections, Real‑Time Notifications and an Activity Feed with fast onboarding, initially engaging 243 administrative employees and yielding 91 contributors, 6 collections and 243 ideas. Using Ideanote’s reporting and management features, DAB improved cross-team innovation, tracked engagement and prioritized initiatives, and now plans to scale the Ideanote space to all 15,000 employees — turning ad hoc suggestions into measurable, sustained improvements.
