Napoli Gang launches scalable mobile app in 6 months with Ideamotive

Napoli Gang, a European delivery-based restaurant chain and spinoff of Big Mamma, sought independence from third-party food delivery platforms. They challenged vendor Ideamotive to develop a custom, scalable mobile app that could handle 1,000 orders per hour for an estimated 10,000 users across multiple countries, all within a tight deadline and while integrating with their external provider, Deliverect.

Ideamotive implemented the solution using an Agile Scrum process with a tech stack of React Native and Java. They successfully delivered Android and iOS apps along with a web-based back office within six months. The solution included features like click-and-collect and gift ordering, providing a better user experience than third-party apps and allowing Napoli Gang to launch faster by initially focusing on pickup orders. Ideamotive delivered a fully functional product that is now in use, giving the client a custom-built platform for their customers.
