Granite State Cabinetry rebuilds CustomEase in 9 months with Ideamotive, scaling to 2,000 customer records

Granite State Cabinetry, a family-owned interior design company, sought to enhance its existing CustomEase software to leverage years of collected customer data and add new functionality. The application, built on Ruby on Rails, needed to become scalable and suitable for use by other similar businesses. They engaged the vendor, Ideamotive, to tackle this challenge.

Ideamotive recommended a complete rewrite of the application after determining the original codebase was of low quality. Using Ruby on Rails, they developed a new, scalable version of CustomEase featuring integrated modules for CRM, CMS, ERP, and team communications. While still in production at the time of writing, the outcome was a faster application that was simpler to maintain and had gained new functionality, including Outlook Calendar integration and a payments system. Ideamotive successfully rebuilt the application to be ready for both the client's growth and future use by other companies.
