Save the Hipsters, a Portland-based nonprofit dedicated to preserving hipster-friendly communities, needed a better way to connect its donor marketing with Salesforce. After using a DIY website and MailChimp, the team struggled with disconnected tools, weak Salesforce integration, and limited analytics, so they turned to Idealist consulting and Pardot to improve donor generation and nurturing.

Idealist consulting led a discovery process, built personas and journey maps, set up Salesforce fields for segmentation, and implemented lead scoring and engagement programs in Pardot. The vendor also helped create a content and lead-generation strategy, including weekly blog ideas and targeted campaigns, resulting in a more scalable, automated system aimed at reaching 50 recurring donors while making all communications and technical tools work together.
