Ashby Village, a Berkeley-based senior volunteer community, faced challenges with its existing volunteer management system, which offered little data control and difficult reporting for its 300+ volunteers. Idealist Consulting implemented a customized Salesforce solution featuring an intuitive user interface, a back-end system for volunteers, and a public events calendar. The new platform was so compatible with the old system that almost no user training was required, saving significant time. Ashby Village now has full control of its data and has drastically reduced the time required to manage requests, with some tasks that used to take three hours now taking only thirty minutes.
