FCA - Customer Case Study

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is a global automotive group operating in 130+ countries with 100+ manufacturing facilities and a portfolio of well-known brands. FCA needed to embed consistent EHS and sustainability practices across its worldwide operations, align those practices with its World Class Manufacturing “Concept of Zero” (zero incidents, accidents, defects), and replace fragmented processes and disparate systems.

ProcessMAP implemented a cloud-based, mobile EHS & Sustainability platform integrated with FCA’s WCM framework, creating an enterprise-wide EHS data system with simple visualizations to accelerate decision-making and drive strategic initiatives. The program delivered strong results: 27% reduction in CO2 (2010–2019), 40% reduction in water use (2010–2018), 64% reduction in waste (2010–2019), 86% reduction in injury frequency and 77% reduction in injury severity (2010–2019), and 95% of manufacturing employees working in OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 certified locations.
