The customer's process of comparing client benefits packages against industry benchmarks was entirely manual, relying on error-prone Excel spreadsheets rebuilt from scratch for every engagement, which prevented scalability and the reuse of valuable historical data.

The solution implemented by Idea Link was a custom, multi-tenant B2B SaaS platform. It replaced the manual Excel workflow with an automated benchmarking engine featuring historical data storage, role-based access control, and white-label theming, all hosted on Canadian infrastructure for data compliance. The results for Orchard Benefits were transformative, turning one-off analyses into reusable, polished reports and enabling the consultancy to resell the platform to its own clients.
