Langley Grammar School achieves integrated communications

Langley Grammar School, a co-educational selective school in Langley, was having major issues with its web-based email system. It had very basic functionality, no calendar, and did not allow staff to set up meetings or appointments, so the school decided to appoint a managed services provider.

IDE Group identified Microsoft BPOS as the right solution, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Office Communications Online, and Office Live Meeting. The changeover was described as impeccable, and internal communication improved as staff could share calendars and organise meetings more easily. Langley Grammar School later used IDE Group for several other IT projects, including the virtualisation of five servers.
