IDE Group helps Norwood deliver Assistive Technology to children and adults with educational and learning disabilities

Norwood, a UK charity founded in 1795, supports vulnerable children, young people with special educational needs, and adults with learning disabilities. It needed a better way to give staff access to assistive technology support material, assessment forms, and update information, because its existing intranet made content hard to upload, order, and find.

IDE Group recommended Microsoft SharePoint and built a dedicated Assistive Technology portal with structured category pages, single sign-on, and kiosk access for home care staff. The rollout included SharePoint on 7 kiosks and dedicated support from IDE Group, giving Norwood a more controlled way to publish up-to-date information and making support material easier for staff to access when needed.
