IDE Group connects WDS a Xerox company to secure hosting and International offices

WDS, a Xerox company in the technology sector in England, needed to move its computer room out of its offices and find a data centre provider that could do more than supply rack space. The company was looking for secure hosting, data and telephony connectivity, virtualisation, storage, and support for connections with service providers and international offices.

IDE Group designed a bespoke colocation, connectivity, and virtualised hosting solution for WDS, including 1Gb data links between the colocation racks and WDS offices, secure direct connectivity, and access to high-bandwidth internet connectivity. The setup gave WDS a more resilient network, easier office moves, lower-cost point-to-point circuits, and 24x7 technical support, while also helping the company focus on core IT operations and plan for cloud hybridisation and simpler disaster recovery.
