ADP Dental, a rapidly growing NHS dental business with 132 practices across England and Wales, was experiencing performance issues with its previous support provider. IT manager Colin Kendrick looked for a new partner to supply and install servers or provide cloud services, and approached IDE Group after working with it on a previous virtualisation project.
IDE Group proposed Microsoft BPOS and second-line support, giving ADP access to a team of engineers and one based with its in-house team. When ADP’s legacy email system failed, IDE Group migrated the systems within 24 hours and restored email with all user data successfully moved. The new service also provided collaboration tools and an intranet for central document storage, while the support contract delivered substantial cost savings, SLAs of eight hours for non-urgent calls and four for urgent calls, and on-site support within four hours on almost every call.
