JSP launches new safety helmets in 4 months with ID&C

JSP, a manufacturer of safety equipment, needed to develop a new range of industrial safety helmets. Their challenge was to create helmets with a distinctive appearance that worked with existing accessories, met safety standards, and provided a generous area for branding. They engaged Industrial Design Consultancy Ltd (IDC) for this product design and development project.

IDC designed two new helmets based on existing structural principles and materials. The vendor created sketch concepts, developed final designs using 3D CAD, and produced rapid prototypes for evaluation. IDC successfully engineered the helmets for production, delivering a unique identity and a high level of protection. The entire process from concept to tooling was completed within a tight timeframe of just four months.
