PharmaEssentia onboard 90 users with IDBS Polar to unify R&D collaboration

PharmaEssentia, a global biopharmaceutical company, faced a challenge in fostering collaboration between its new R&D team in Boston and its established team in Taipei, which was relying on paper notebooks. To support its digital transformation, PharmaEssentia selected the IDBS Polar platform as an electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) solution to create a single source of truth for its data.

IDBS implemented its Polar platform to help both teams capture, structure, and interrogate data, making collaboration more efficient. The solution was chosen for its superior functionality, multi-language support including Mandarin, and dynamic inventory management. The rollout will connect approximately 25 users in Boston and 65 in Taipei, with plans to further leverage AI/ML analytics. IDBS provided the tools for seamless and secure collaboration between the global teams.
