Lonza Early adoption of IDBS bioprocess platform puts Lonza Biologics ahead

Lonza Biologics, part of Swiss life science company Lonza, needed to stay highly competitive while delivering “right first time” biologics development services with low overheads and efficient working practices. To move beyond paper-based processes and improve quality, speed, collaboration, and knowledge management, it partnered with IDBS and adopted the E-WorkBook Suite bioprocess platform.

IDBS implemented a Bioprocess Execution System based on E-WorkBook Suite to digitize and optimize the full laboratory-to-report lifecycle across process development and analytical services for 300 users at four global sites. The result was improved data quality, fewer errors, better process visibility, and faster reporting—turning reports that once took weeks or months into outputs that can now be completed in days, while also making data more structured, searchable, and reusable.
