IDBS and the University of Cambridge Join Forces for Cheminformatics Tools Captures and Leverages IP with IDBS E-WorkBook for Chemistry

The University of Cambridge’s Department of Chemistry needed a data management solution to support a wide range of research programs and improve how experimental results and intellectual property were captured, searched, and shared. Working with IDBS, the university sought to reduce the risk of duplicated experiments, improve research governance across departments and locations, and better support diverse chemistry disciplines using IDBS E-WorkBook for Chemistry.

IDBS implemented E-WorkBook for Chemistry to provide electronic management of chemical information, searchable by chemical context, while supporting SOPs and advanced cheminformatics methods. As a result, Cambridge can securely protect IP, more easily capture and analyze complex data, unlock access based on security levels, and produce publications faster through automated reports and full experimental context.
