Global Biotech Company, a global distributor of biological technologies serving neuroscience, neural-engineering, and neural-prosthetics communities, was struggling with a paper-based R&D process. Research data was stored in Excel, printed into notebooks, and shared by email, making experiments difficult to search, increasing duplication of work, and slowing data management and reporting. The company needed a more efficient, standardized way to capture results and protect intellectual property.

IDBS implemented its E-WorkBook electronic laboratory notebook to centralize data in one secure place, standardize experiment templates, and reduce reliance on paper.
