Enterprise electronic data and knowledge management optimizes R&D cross functional collaboration at Nutricia Research

Nutricia Research, Danone’s global R&D organization for Early Life Nutrition and Advanced Medical Nutrition, needed to replace paper-based workflows and data silos with a secure, collaborative system. The team wanted better access to historic data, stronger IP protection, audit trails, e-signatures, and a way to support growing datasets across global teams. IDBS was selected after a pilot, with E-WorkBook identified as the platform to help meet these needs.

IDBS implemented E-WorkBook to digitize research workflows, centralize data, and improve collaboration, compliance, and reporting. The result was reduced manual transcription errors, richer and more accessible data, faster review and approval processes, and easier sharing of results in real time across departments. Nutricia Research also reported a quick deployment and, after a 2-hour training session in a dedicated environment, researchers were able to move to production use, helping the organization improve efficiency and make the Utrecht facility a stronger model for research excellence.
